Happy Sunday! Here are another two posts for you that I have written this week. One is a bit different to what I have done before so please let me know what you think. Enjoy...

Notifications Steal From You

I wrote this after reading a couple of books and experimenting with it at work. It really helped me be more productive and feel a bit more structured with the way I was working. Have a read, give it a go and let me know if it works for you.

The book you need to read if you want to get better at self promotion

This is my first book summary I have done and I chose the book that has the biggest impact on me personally. The aim is to give you an insight in to a book I have read and hopefully give you enough info to decide whether it si for you or not. Let me know what you think of my first book summary!

Quote of the week

"The world is changing at such a rapid rate that it's turning us all into amateurs. Even for Professionals, the best way to flourish is to retain an amateur's spirit and embrace uncertainty and the unknown." - Austin Kleon, Show Your Work

Mind Blowing Podcast

I listened to this podcast this week and it was truly mind blowing! It features Mo Gawdat who is the former chief business officer for Google X and has since wrote two books (which I am now going to read). His first book is on the subject of happiness that he wrote after losing his son. Listen to just the first ten minutes of this podcast and I guarantee you that you will want to keep listening till the end.
